Bio

Born and raised in Mola di Bari, he has always harbored a passion for visual art, eventually finding his calling in photography. Before transitioning into a professional photographer, he explored various forms of artistic expression, ultimately discovering his most authentic voice through the lens of a camera.

Street photography and photojournalism became his daily pursuits, allowing him to capture life in its raw essence, devoid of filters or pretense.
In recent years, he has had the privilege of learning under the mentorship of esteemed photojournalist Valerio Bispuri, whose guidance has profoundly shaped his approach to documentary photography.

Their collaboration has spanned across multiple projects, fostering a bond that transcends mere professional tutelage.
His connection to his hometown runs deep and enduring. For over a decade, he has dedicated himself to an ongoing project documenting Mola di Bari in its most genuine and intimate moments. Each photograph serves as a narrative, a testament to the social and cultural tapestry of the place he calls home.

However, his scope extends beyond the confines of Mola di Bari. In 2023, he embarked on a journey to Santiago de Cuba to document the lives of Cuban families, aiming to capture the subtleties of a reality vastly different from his own, yet grounded in universal humanity. Currently, he is engrossed in a new and ambitious project titled "At the Feet of Christ," which delves into the daily lives of individuals in the cities of Bari, Naples, and Palermo.

Through his work, he seeks to offer an unadorned glimpse into contemporary southern Italian society, capturing the authenticity of everyday existence.
Each photograph represents an endeavor to intertwine the threads of stories, emotions, and realities that constitute the fabric of the communities he portrays.

With camera in hand, he is committed to conveying the beauty and complexity of the world, one frame at a time.
